Ken was not allowed tor esume training for 6 months due to this illness but has now since become the Black Ranger. A lieutenant of Sky Force, Ken has all the makings of a true hero. But his devotion to Sky Force code almost cost Kirsten her life.

He is sometimes brash and hotheaded and makes the wrong decisions sometimes, but Kirsten owes him her life for if it wasn't for Terry, Kirsten may be dead.

3 years ago, Master Polar captured Bethany and turned her into Empress Tundra. Tundra ruled over the Frieze Empire while Polar was away and was a powerful figure of authority. She caused the near death of her sweetheart Robin, but her guilt of it overcame her and after (in subconsciousness) recieving a Wing Gauntlet, she threw away her darkened past and saved Robin by becoming the Blue Ranger. She and Robin are now married.

A beautiful young woman who gave up her rich family life to seek her own path. While her father wanted her to become the new president of his company when he passed away, Kirsten wanted more. She joined Sky Force much to her vain father's chagrin and has since become the White Ranger. She was almost killed on her first mission but thanks to Terruy and the others, she lived to figth another day.

Sonya is Ken's 'kid sister.' She was transferred from the Sky Force Desert base. She was overjoyed to see her brother after 5 years but in a mission when the Amphibials attacked the satellite base, she was gunned down. She was quickly placed in the infirmary but the same night, Tundra broke in and stole the body. Using specially designed equipment, Master Polar regenerated Sonya's body and implanted a virus into her mind, temporarily turning her into the evil Connexia.

In her battle with Ken, Sonya broke through the virus and once again become Ken's sister. She doned the Falconizer and became the Nightfire Ranger. After breaking through, she later fell in love with Terry and the 2 started sharing a special relationship.
